So I'm Jim.
The essential facts would be:
A freelance personal trainer based at fitness first in Newcastle
A free lance group fitness instructor
I run a boot camp
My speciality would have to be rowing, started when i was just 7 as a cox for my sisters crew. I then grew and started to row myself. This was assisted mainly by Mr B. Parker, Mr .P Graham and Mr M.Proud whilst at St Leonards RC in Durham.
I also spent some time at Chester-le-street boat club where I now (when time allows) coach and train.
Absolutely love the sport and have to lift my hat to all the parents, especially my own, who help out FREE at all silly times of day.
With more time I would be there a lot more.
The rowing is where a lot of my endurance training, strength training and the conditioning training come from which I am able to apply to most situations getting the best results.
I have qualifications in:
gym based boxing
strength and conditioning
exercise to music
I am currently studying as part of a Pilates course,
however I believe to remain fresh going to seminars on things like nutrition and training is essential to having insight on the best techniques to achieve the best LONG TERM results so aim to learn something new everyday, cheesy? yes; but also very true.
